







Art has long been recognized as a powerful form of self-expression and communication. Applying Expressive arts in the form of visual and performance has been an integral part of our curriculum designing and transformative workshops organized for children, youth and adult communities. We nurture Life Skills through art forms to explore with learners to externalize and visually present their inner experiences, which helps them to gain insights into their emotional landscape, fostering self-awareness and personal growth. Through expressive art forms we aim to bring a conscious practice of the Life Skills shared by WHO,UNICEF and UNESCO to promote physical, mental and psycho-social competence, such as , Self-awareness, Empathy, Critical thinking, Creative thinking skills, Interpersonal skills, Effective Communication, Decision making, Problem solving, Coping with emotions and stress.
Through these forms we explore to question, form their own values and make decisions for their future.
It empowers individuals to confront emotional conflicts, confront past traumas and develop coping mechanisms with present difficulties.
It is used as a powerful tool and medium for building critical literacy and social awareness too.
Expressive art mediums we use in our learning process are exploring with colours, rangoli, creative movements, immersive experience with nature, paper puppets, shadow theatre, playback theatre, image theatre and forum Theatre.
We have reached over 7,500 children, 350 teachers and 500 plus youth for impacting Life Skills development using Expressive Arts.
