YOUTH4CHANGE

Adolescent girls and boys journey as champions, leaders in this program, becoming change makers in their own communities through the impact of education. The Youth4Change is a community based intervention model which integrates Life skills, Language skills (Functional English literacy) and Leadership skills. This program is a collaborative partnership of many organizations. Community-Led Organizations (CLOs) selected based on the relevant experience on field who focus on the development of youth in marginalized communities and ability to build take lead to mobilize as adolescent girls and boys in the community for further learning process. It is a year- long intervention program, with both offline and online learning.

  • It is an activity-based learning curriculum that is being implemented through a joyful, creative learning process using games, songs, concept art, creative movement, drama, storytelling, craft, using digital skills for presentation and field experiences. 

  • It is a peer to peer learning model, where the selected champions replicate their learnings and reach out to younger children in their own communities. 

  • It focuses on building a consciousness towards gender awareness, self-awareness and employability skills to break the cycle of poverty and build an empowering career for self and their community.

  • We have reached 4 states in India. 

  • Adolescent boys and girls from Rainbow Foundation Home, Hyderabad. 

  • Adolescent girls from CBO’s in marginalized areas in UP, Delhi and Bihar through partnership with CSEI, Delhi. 

  • We have been able to reach out to over 500 plus youth and adolescent children to impact quality learning.
